The owners of Rive Gauche Company, which deals with perfumery, have wittingly allocated their office in the premises of former railway depot. The locomotive depot of the Warsaw train station, like many other constructions of mid 19th century in St. Petersburg, was built in red brick. A fetching idea of creating a trendy office was a rather interesting material for us, with 14 arch-like openings for trains in order to go through.

The cupola of an atrium was replaced with glass, allowing the sunbeams reflect on the flawlessly polished marble floor. In the arches, were some time ago trains used to be let through, appeared a new floor with a ring of offices for staff members.

The cast-iron staircase reincarnates the image of Russia in the times of introduction of heavy industry. It was made according to our drawings, as well as cast-iron pillars and balustrades.

Владельцы парфюмерной компании Рив Гош расположили свой офис в здании бывшего железнодорожного депо. Локомотивное депо Варшавского вокзала, как и много других построек в Петербурге середины 19 века, представляло собой здание из красного кирпича. Перед нами стояла интересная задача — создать стильный офис в стенах круглого промышленного здания с 14-ю арочными проездами для поездов.

This house was built for a young family, prosperous and successful, whose ideas of the ideal house were expressed in these lines. From the great variety of what they have seen and admired in architecture all over the world, their eyes and memories have captured distinctive details and proportions, character and mood, materials and images which have now become part of their daily life, the projection of precious words and meanings in a project bearing witness to classicism.

All the joinery work — the kitchen, the cupboards, wardrobes and wall panels — is based on bespoke designs, with carefully drawn detailing, which, because each detail is absolutely right, make the house impressive and unique.

Рукодельный шарм этого пространства, наполненного заботливыми хлопотами, искусством великолепного натюрморта, подробностями домашней заповедной стряпни, солнечными оттенками кремового и фисташкового, одушевлен постоянным закадровым присутствием главной героини – хозяйки дома.

Если добавить, что все предметы в этом загородном доме подчиняются воле прекрасного знатока и коллекционера живописи, их обусловленность приобретает дополнительный, культурологический смысл.

The reconstruction was done with minimum of interference to the particular atmosphere, thoughtfully created by the owners. Paintings, elements of the attires, wallpaper of Morris give away the stylistical ardor of the owners.
